METLIFE FOUNDATION COMMITS $25 THOUSAND TO CHILDREN'S CANCER CENTER OF LEBANON (CCCL) IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19
MetLife Foundation announced it is committing $25 thousand to Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) in response to COVID-19. The grant funding from MetLife Foundation will contribute to helping kids with cancer and cover their treatment costs.
CCCL has been fully committed to supporting 300 patients fighting cancer. However, due to the lack of funds locally and the current economic situation, CCCL might face some challenges covering the cost for the treatment of all the patients.
“Putting the community first is at the heart of who we are and what we stand for,” said MetLife Lebanon General Manager Carl Tachdjian. He adds, “being next to our little ones, especially during a time of need, is our commitment at MetLife Lebanon, and CCCL allows us to extend a hand to navigate hope together with the children.”
